The Duax staple is specific to its tool; no other staple will fit. The crown width is 1/2" [15mm] and the wire is a 25 g. flat. During the operation cycle, each staple is trimmed to the correct length for the thickness of material being stapled, and clinched flat with a "printer's clinch".



*Please note that the throat depth of the Duax stapler is 3", so it is not suitable for booklet binding where upwards of 5.5" in depth is needed to place the staples in the middle of an 8.5" X 11" sheet. For such an application we recommend our manual long-reach stapler.
